Alitaptap Series Features Resource Speaker from University of Tsukuba, Japan

The International Affairs Office (IAO) of Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through the Global Student Ambassadors (GSA), hosted the second episode of the “Alitaptap Series” on December 27, 2025. This virtual event was held in collaboration with the ASEAN Youth Organization (AYO) and featured its second speaker, Yuga Morioka from the University of Tsukuba, Japan.

Mr. Yuga actively supports the University of Tsukuba’s internationalization efforts through tutoring international students, assisting campus tours, interpreting at orientation events, and promoting study abroad programs.

His presentation in today’s episode, titled "Japanese Food and Culture 101," began with an interactive session which contained Trivia quizzes about Japan. The main topic was about the Japanese language, famous food, culture, places to visit, and means of transportation they use in Japan.

The event was attended by members of the Global Student Ambassadors, students from Central Luzon State University (CLSU), Visayas State University (VSU), and International students from Indonesia.

The “Alitaptap Series” is a virtual conversation platform that offers young people from around the world a vibrant space to exchange ideas, share diverse viewpoints, and connect across cultures, which significantly helps in promoting internationalization.
