Central Luzon State University hosts Dr. Muhammad Hazwan Bin Hamzah, professor technologist of the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering in University Putra Malaysia and Dr. Hajah Rosnah Shamsudin, professor technologist of the Department of Process and Food Engineering in Universiti Putra Malaysia for their special lecture topics, about the “Technological Advances Revolutionizing Food and Agri-processing” and “From Waste to Wealth: Emerging Extraction Technologies and their Applications in the Food Industry” on November 19, 2025 as part of the Global Lecture Expert Series.

The event brings together students and faculty from the CLSU Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, CLSU – College of Engineering and the CLSU Department of Food Science and Technology – CLSU – College of Home Science and Industry. Also present during the lecture series are the Acting Dean of the College of Engineering Dr. Roy Jose P. Dela Cruz, and the Department Chair of Agricultural Biosystems and Engineering, Dr. John Paulo C. Sacdalan.

Organized by the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering – College of Engineering, and the Department of Food Science and Technology – College of Home Science and Industry in collaboration with DOST- Science Education Institute CLSU-Engineering Research & Development for Technology (ERDT) Program and the CLSU International Affairs Office.
