
MS Crop Protection Graduate Student Joins Global Short Course on Environmental Management in Indonesia
Mr. Henry C. Rufin, a graduate student from the Master’s Program in Crop Protection (Entomology) of the College of Agriculture, Central Luzon State University, represented the university as one of six Filipino delegates selected among 117 applicants worldwide to participate in the 4th International Short Course on Natural Resources and Environmental Management (ISCoNREM 2025) held at Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) University, Bogor, Indonesia, from September 7 to 15, 2025.
The short course gathered 30 international participants to discuss and experience various topics related to ecosystem services and biodiversity, human and ecosystem management, and small island ecosystem management. Activities included keynote lectures, workshops, field lectures, community service, and cultural exchange programs aimed at promoting collaborative learning and sustainable environmental practices.
