PRMSU conducts Benchmarking Activity at CLSU

The President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU) conducted a comprehensive benchmarking activity at Central Luzon State University (CLSU) on February 19, 2026. The engagement serves as a cornerstone of PRMSU’s strategic roadmap to penetrate the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings. With the objective of strengthening the institutional systems in governance, research, academic performance, data management, and internationalization. Proven that CLSU’s recognized leadership and exemplary practices in these areas, which the university serves as an ideal benchmarking partner for this endeavor.

The PRMSU delegation, composed of eight key university officials and directors was present in the activity, spearheaded by Dr. Celeste A. Orge, Director of the Office of International Linkages. Together with Dr. Jerry Cristobal, Vice President for Planning & Institutional Development, Dr. Marlon Dedicatorai, Vice President for Research & Development, Dr. Armando Robles, Director for Planning, Dr. Emelyn Bugayong, Director for Gender & Development, Dr. Edna Padre, Director for Environment & Climate Change, Ms. Katherine Uy, Director for Extension Services, and Mr. Danilo Rogayan Jr., Director for Research.

This benchmarking activity was led by Dr. Parsons N. Hail, the Director of International Affairs Office, along with the heads of respective units involved including Dr. Eduard C. Taganap, Dr. Lorenz J. Fajardo, Dr. Shirly C. Serrano, Mr. Mark Anthony Ventura, Mr. Jessie Dann Fabro, Dr. Khavee Augustus Botangen, Dr. Rhodora L. Dela Rosa, Dr. Mercedita M. Reyes, Dr. Eden David, and Mr. Jerome O. Garcia.

By adopting and adapting CLSU’s successful strategies, PRMSU aims to not only improve its standing in world rankings but also to enhance the quality of education and research services provided to its stakeholders.
