Three CASS Faculty Scholars to Share Research at International Conferences

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) faculty members from the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) are proud to announce that three of its faculty members, currently pursuing doctoral studies abroad, have been accepted as fellows and presenters at prestigious international conferences.

Ken Calang, a PhD candidate in Multicultural Studies at Mahidol University, Thailand, will participate in the "Capacity Workshop on Forced Displacement in Southeast Asia" at Chiang Mai University. This workshop, sponsored by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada, brings together scholars to deepen understanding of a critical regional issue.

Ella Joy Avellanoza-Ponce, pursuing a PhD in International Studies at Ewha Womans University, South Korea, will present a co-authored paper at the 4th Southeast Asian Conference on Education (SEACE2024) in Chiang Mai. Her research focuses on international and regional partnerships for achieving Sustainable Development Goals in higher education, a topic relevant to educators globally.

Allan Jay Esteban, a PhD candidate in British and American Language and Culture at Kyung Hee University, South Korea, will participate in the Paris Conference on Education (PCE2024). His presentation reflects his commitment to contributing valuable insights to the international discourse on education.
