Visiting Professor from University of Tennessee conducts a Global Expert Lecture Series
Central Luzon State University hosts Dr. Chika C. Okafor, professor of the Biomedical and Diagnostic Sciences Department at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, under the auspices of the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Faculty Exchange Program, for his special lecture titled “Epidemiology: Where Mathematics Shapes Public Health” on October 17, 2025 as part of the Global Lecture Expert Series.
The event brings together students and faculty from the Department of Mathematics and Physics and Department of Statistics of the CLSU – College of Science (COS), as well as the College of Veterinary Science and Medicine (CVSM).
Organized by the Department of Mathematics and Physics, in collaboration with the Department of Statistics and the CVSM, this engagement highlights CLSU’s commitment to global academic collaboration and professional development in advancing both veterinary education and scientific research.
