Three Master’s Scholars Elevate Agricultural Engineering Through International Research Presentation in Bangkok, Thailand
Engr. Arjay M. De Leon, Engr. Hyleen Joy S. Agustin, and Engr. Jelie Bituin Ingaran, three Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering Students, and CLSU ERDT Scholars, from the Department of Agricultural Biosystems Engineering, College of Engineering, participated in the 49th World Conference on Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (WCASET) in Bangkok, Thailand from December 16-25, 2025.
“Development of Centrifugal Dewatering Machine for High Moisture Layer Manure” Engr. De Leon’s research centers on waste management, specifically the development of a centrifugal dewatering machine designed for high moisture layer manure.
“GIS-Based Land Suitability Assessment and Mapping for Agrivoltaic Systems in Central Luzon, Philippines for Non-Rice Crops Using MCDA-AHDP” Engr. Agustin’s research focuses on integrating engineering and environmental management toward climate-smart and resource-efficient agriculture.
“Development of CNN-Based Model Automated Detection and Growth Monitoring of Catfish in Aquaponics Systems” Engr. Ingaran’s research involves integrating artificial intelligence, image processing, and Internet of Things technologies.
