MS AgEn Student Starts Research Mobility Program at KMUTT in Thailand through DOST-ERDT Sandwich Program
Engr. Zack Philip D. Aquino, a Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering student from the Institute of Graduate Studies (IGS) of Central Luzon State University (CLSU), starts his graduate research mobility program at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in Bangkok, Thailand from May 15 to September 30, 2026.
Guided by the Director of Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment (JGSEE) Professor Dr. Navadol Laosiripojana, Engr. Aquino will work on his study on the Catalytic Steam Reforming of Torrefaction Tar for Green Hydrogen Production. He will also participate in the departmental seminars, workshops, and lectures about the renewable hydrogen production and biomass conversion technologies.
His visit is supported by the Department of Science and Technology-Engineering Research and Development for Technology (DOST-ERDT) Scholarship Program through its Sandwich Program. One of the major deliverables of Engr. Aquino is to establish an academic and professional connection with other Master’s and PhD students in Thailand as he is currently based at the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA).
This initiative forms part of the ongoing collaboration between CLSU and KMUTT, which promotes international partnerships in Agricultural and Biological Engineering and related fields.
