CLSU BSIT Student Developers recognized with Best Capstone Award for the WRITER System at ITCON 2026
The Hannah W. Tibbs Writers’ Studio at Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has officially launched “WRITER System” (Writing Resources, Innovation, Tutoring, Events, and Reservations System), a pioneering digital platform designed to modernize the studio’s operational workflow.
Proudly developed by fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology students—Hazel Anne S. Candelaria, Russel DC. Quibuyien, and Anna Michaella Villanueva—the system was recently recognized as the “Best Project in the Mobile and Cloud Computing Track” at the ITCON 2026: Information Technology Research and Innovation Conference.
Beyond their academic excellence, these student developers honed their professional skills as interns at the CLSU International Affairs Office (IAO). Their success underscores the immense value of the university’s internship programs, which provide students with a platform to apply theoretical knowledge.
The platform is now fully operational and accessible to the entire CLSU community, including students, faculty, and staff. Through this digital gateway, users can seamlessly manage and secure bookings for key services, including: Writing space for individual and group reservation, and Turnitin services.
For reservations and submissions, please visit our website “writingsupport.clsu.edu.ph”, register with your e-mail, log-in, and select the service you want to avail.
