
CLSU, ULAB Collaboration in Academic, Research, Sustainable Development
Central Luzon State University, Philippines (CLSU) and the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding towards sustainability in program offerings, capacity building, academic and research collaboration, and mobility.
Professor Dr. Jude William R. Genilo, Pro Vice Chancellor of ULAB representing Prof. Dr. Imran Rahman, Vice Chancellor (ULAB), and Professor Dr. Renato G. Reyes, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Director of the International Affairs Office representing Prof. Dr. Edgar A. Orden, CLSU President in the MOU signing on April 26, 2023, at the OVPAA Amphitheater.
The partnership meeting was participated by different program and unit heads, Dr. Jay C. Santos, Dean of the College of Arts and Social Sciences, Dr. Gella Patria L. Abella, Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Hazel Monica Peralta, College of Fisheries, Dr. Parsons N. Hail, Head of the Linkages and Intercultural Exchange Unit of the International Affairs Office and respective program chairs and representatives.
CLSU and ULAB will first undertake activities in the areas of Development Communication, Language and Literature, Environmental Management, Freshwater Aquaculture, capacity building, and student and faculty exchange as part of the international mobility.
Both CLSU and ULAB recognize the need and importance of establishing linkages with international academic and research institutions to enrich the academic programs they offer, strengthen their research function, and intensify the exposure of the students to different cultures thus cultivating respect and relativism.
